This single-module course introduces the concept of costing as it relates to the garment industry. Costing is a crucial topic, as it enables garment manufacturers to understand the cost calculation structure related to their products and services.
In this module, we will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to assess the cost of all the added value in your production processes. We will also help you understand the importance of measuring the value-added components of your production, look at the different types of costing that are done, and identify the elements that should be included in measuring value-added services. By the time you are done, you will have acquired the tools and techniques necessary to implement a measurement system for value-added services in your business.
