First, it explains the core concepts, principles, and components essential for designing a circular economy in the textile industry. Major challenges to achieving systemic circularity are discussed, along with opportunities to support a transition toward a circular economy. Strategic insights are also provided to guide businesses in developing circular products, processes, and business models across the textile value chain.

Next, the course explores circular textile policies, focusing on key prerequisites and the potential impact on global textile value chains. Participants will delve into the EU Textiles Strategy and related policies addressing eco-design, used textiles, waste management, consumer empowerment, and corporate sustainability measures.

Finally, the course demystifies the stages and activities of a circular textile value chain, discussing main challenges to value creation for industry stakeholders. Participants will learn strategies to overcome these challenges and create sustainable value within their businesses. Together, these insights equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of textile circularity, enabling them to navigate the industry's shift toward sustainability.
